Question 1

How do I get a US address?

Accepted Answer

Create a free AFL account and verify your ID. Your personal address at our New York warehouse, with your AFL code, then appears in your dashboard. Use it as the delivery address at any US store.

Question 2

Which stores can I buy from?

Accepted Answer

Any US store that delivers to a US address — Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Apple, Nike and thousands more. If a store will not take your card, use Buy-for-Me and we buy it for you.

Question 3

How long does delivery to Ghana take?

Accepted Answer

Air (Atlas Express) takes about 3–5 days from our New York warehouse. Sea (Atlas Voyage) takes about 25–35 days. Your tracking page shows the estimate for each shipment.

Question 4

How is my package weighed?

Accepted Answer

Air freight is charged on the larger of the actual weight and the volume weight (length × width × height in inches ÷ 366). A light but bulky box is priced by its size, so consolidating orders into one box usually lowers the total.

Question 5

Do I pay Ghana customs separately?

Accepted Answer

No. Ghana import duties and clearing are included in your AFL price and shown on your invoice. We clear the shipment for you.

Question 6

What can’t I ship?

Accepted Answer

Items such as loose lithium batteries, aerosols, flammables and weapons cannot be shipped, and some goods need a permit in Ghana. We check every package and tell you before anything leaves New York.

Question 7

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

In cedis, from your AFL Wallet. Top up securely through Paystack, then pay each invoice in one tap.

Question 8

What if my item is lost or damaged?

Accepted Answer

Add Cargo Cover when you ship and you are covered from our warehouse to your door. Report a problem from the shipment page and our team handles the claim.
